Okay, they’ve got a LOT of viral marketing out there now, among the gamer sub genre, but besides the pictures of hawt women in period outfits what exactly is Evony about?
Okay, I freely admit that I was sucked into the game by the models, and just like every other Evony player was disappointed that there aren’t any beautiful women in this game.
Nope. None.

Okay, I freely admit that I was sucked into the game by the models, and just like every other Evony player was disappointed that there aren’t any beautiful women in this game.
Nope. None.
What Evony online is, is a Resource Management and Strategy Game. Since I like both of those elements, I wasn’t too horribly disappointed by the lack of cleavage in game.
Evony is a very complex game and its terribly easy to get overwhelmed. There is no tutorial, so to speak and, lets face it, the only reason that I have gotten as far as I have, so far, was by clicking about and seeing what buttons did what.
There are a lot of new players who are asking for help on Evony and the universal response (and my reply as well) is to start with the Quests. There’s a quest button in the lower left hand of your screen. If nothing else, open that window and start reading.
The quests are laid out to teach you each element in Evony in nice bite sized chunks. And when you succeed in these tutorial quests, you’ll get a reward for it. It’s a nice easy way to learn the game.
The game is free. It’s got complex elements of game play, yet has been laid out so that its easy to play.
Another thing that I like about this game is that as you progress, it takes more time to advance. Eventually you’ll be waiting hours and days to build various advances in the game. I appreciate this because, I do want to play a game where I can sit down for a couple of minutes, make a couple of decisions, and then walk away and let the Evony server grow your resources back.
