Tampa, FL 33614 The China Dragon is both a Mom and Pop restaurant as well as a shrine to the China Dragon aka Bruce Lee, so no Bruce Lee jokes.
This is a small shop who's primary business focus is for take-out and delivery. (Call 'em at 813-876-8866.) They didn't have a fountain drink dispenser and sell drinks by the cans, so for us westerners who are used to 32 oz per meal just be forewarned that they only serve 12 oz cans.(Get two.)
I usually judge a Chinese restaurant based on their Dim Sum and China Dragon has some of the best.
Their meals are generous with lots of vegetables and generous rice with prices that are a steal.
Mind, you I actually sat down and ate in the restaurant so my food was so fresh (and hot) that I needed to wait five minutes to be able to start eating. Their menu is darn near a ledger sized sheet of paper with fine print.
For my neighbors in Tampa, you are truly blessed to have the China Dragon (especially if they’re in your neighborhood.)
Quite frankly if I wanted to find a Chinese restaurant this good in Orlando, I’d be forced to drive an hour up to Apopka and spend lots of money. I may be easy to please, but the owners of China Dragon did everything right.
I don’t have a scale for restaurants but if I did a scale based off of 5 points China Dragon would easily rate a 5 out of 5.
