The Ruined Grist Mill
The wheel keeps churning, and I\'d swear they\'re in there grinding.... something....
The Ruined Gristmill is a medium sized 28mm scale wargaming terrain originally designed for Mordheim. Some realism was sacrificed to benefit gameplay. Mill comes apart into four pieces, 1) Lower floor, 2) Upper Floor, 3) Water Wheel, 4) Milling Apparatus. The Grist Mill has been playtested and has been a featured and well utilized piece of terrain of considerable strategic value on the field. The bi-level breakaway feature allows easy access to difficult inner areas for minature placement and movement. Upper level is designed to rest flat on a tabletop as an independent piece and can be removed/replaced effortlessly.
Asthetically, the Grist Mill is painted in a dark granite with red hue cast and accented with textured moss.

Playability: Good (4 out of 5) - Plenty of room for the maneuvering of miniatures, good sniper positions but not perfect - a determined attacker can displace any shooters.
Materials Used: Hydrostone bonded with Aileens Tacky Glue, other materials for Water Wheel and Grind stone aparatus.
Molds Used: (From Hirst Arts): Basic Block #40, Dragon\'s Inn #51, Chipped Floor #201, and Prison Tower
